This work has quite a story behind it. I initally made a stencil from a charcoal drawing then painted several prints from the stencil and left the used stencil on the ground in the basement studio off to the side. Over the next day the basement flooded and the stencil was submerged by the water. Being soaked for some hours paint left on the stencil was brought to the waters surface and naturally a transfer medium was created! This was the brightest and most clear copy that came from 5 prints, with added pastel and watercolors. It is of a mother breastfeeding her child.
