It's whirling a whirl..

There is a special two day exhibition that started today at Christie's Auction house in Beverly Hills. Typically this auctioneer and almost homogenous Sotheby's one block west is open by appointment only (if you can prove your able to afford the crumb on the floor!) Yet, thankfully to Betty Freeman's legacy I can go enjoy some of her private collection of her home for the past forty years in the 'Hills.

She was a supporter of the arts since she could remember and is regarded as one of the most potent collectors of modern art in the west. While she maintained dear friendships with most house hold painterly names (Hockeny/Warhol/Stella to name a few) she cultivated music by supporting financially the creative process behind nu
merous scores and symphonies.

I hope to see
an artist I like in a never before seen way, because if I imagine correctly as I do when I filter my own projection over the matter at hand the works of art that made it into Betty's home were special to that of the artist who crafted them, de
parted with them to be dwell with her. It is said that more than 50% of this collection, in motion now, half to the NY house to be sold on March 15th and half to a permanent museum home in London, were given to Betty by their artist.

Maybe someday I' will be like Betty. A little older, a lot more potent, present, and anywhere. First, I'll start to look at the camera.
