In the wake of Mr. Brainwash's seccond burst into the international scene after ArtShow2008 his bit in Exit Through The Gift Shop put him on the map across the board with culture vultures and film goers. I was not surprised to see sad-sappy mash up of his face walking to grab a burrito on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. Ballsey, I must say in fact wheatpasting to a window in a 24hr well lit and densly populated area by residents and drunks alike. For christ sake it's pasted to the front windows of Beverly Hills Luxery Car Rental.
I explained to the man here cleaning up who the face in the art was and his backstory. The kind man reacted with genuine laughter, clearly not knowing who he is.
